Choosing the right print option depends on your design and how your flag will be seen. Here’s a quick guide to help:
Standard Print Feather Flags are printed on one side only. The design shows through to the reverse, but any text will appear mirrored or backwards. This is ideal for simple messages, bold colours, and graphics — especially when your flag is mostly viewed from one direction, like beside a road or outside a shop.
Double-Sided Feather Flags, on the other hand, are made from three layers of material: two layers of flag fabric (front and back) with a special blockout layer in between. This clever construction prevents any show-through from the reverse side, ensuring your message and design appear crisp and 100% readable from both directions.
It’s the perfect choice for detailed artwork, QR codes, or text-heavy designs, especially in busy areas where your flag is seen from multiple angles.

The easiest way to get started is to sketch your idea by hand. It doesn’t need to be perfect — a rough drawing is more than enough to give us a feel for your layout. Just note down where you want things like your logo, key words, or special offers. You can email it to us or upload it via Exclusive link.
If you prefer using design software, that’s absolutely fine too. We accept files from Photoshop, Illustrator and similar. Just make sure your artwork is in CMYK, set to 250–300dpi, and saved as a high-res PDF, PSD, AI or EPS. Please outline any fonts and remove stitch lines or guides before sending.
If you're ordering a double-sided flag, you can even have a different design on each side. Using complementary or contrasting colours on the front and back can be really effective — it helps your flag catch the eye from multiple angles and gives you more room to be creative.
